1. Data We Collect

The Taylor Grant Report collects only the data necessary to generate institutional intelligence for our clients. This includes:

  • Email metadata and content via read-only API connections (with explicit client authorization)
  • CRM data including deal stages, account information, and engagement history
  • Calendar data for meeting patterns and availability signals
  • Contact information provided through our website forms
  • LinkedIn data accessed exclusively through official LinkedIn APIs, with explicit member consent via OAuth (see Section 8 below)

2. How We Use Data

  • We process data exclusively for intelligence generation, scoring, and reporting
  • We do not sell, rent, or share client data with third parties
  • We do not use client data to train models for non-client purposes
  • We do not train AI models on client data
  • LinkedIn-derived data is used solely within the Taylor Grant Report platform for authorized users and never for any purpose prohibited by the LinkedIn API Terms of Use

3. Data Retention

Intelligence signals are retained for the duration of the client engagement plus 90 days. Clients may request earlier deletion of all data at any time. LinkedIn-derived data is retained only for as long as it is needed to provide our services and is deleted in accordance with Section 8 below.

4. Data Security

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. API connections use OAuth 2.0 with read-only scopes. LinkedIn OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit. We conduct quarterly security reviews and penetration testing.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following sub-processors, all of whom maintain equivalent data protection standards:

  • Cloud infrastructure providers (SOC 2 compliant)
  • Email delivery services for intelligence brief delivery
  • CRM platform APIs with read-only access scopes
  • LinkedIn Corporation, solely as the provider of the official LinkedIn APIs through which we access data with explicit member consent

6. Your Rights

Clients and their users have the right to:

  • Access all data stored about them
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of all data, including all LinkedIn-derived data
  • Receive a portable copy of their data
  • Withdraw consent for LinkedIn data access at any time

8. LinkedIn API Compliance

This section describes how The Taylor Grant Report accesses, uses, stores, and protects LinkedIn data, and how we comply with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use.

8.1 Human-Approved Posting Only

The Taylor Grant Report does not automate posting to LinkedIn. All publishing actions require explicit human review and approval. We do not auto-post, auto-comment, or auto-message on behalf of users.

8.2 No Scraping or Non-API Data Collection

We do not scrape, crawl, spider, or collect any LinkedIn data outside of official LinkedIn APIs. We do not use third-party tools or services to obtain LinkedIn content.

8.3 LinkedIn Data Access & Consent

Users must explicitly authorize access to their LinkedIn data via OAuth. We only access LinkedIn data after clear, affirmative consent. Users may withdraw consent at any time, and may request deletion of all LinkedIn-derived data.

8.4 OAuth Token Storage & Deletion

OAuth tokens obtained from LinkedIn are encrypted at rest and in transit. Tokens are deleted immediately upon user request, account disconnection, or LinkedIn revocation. Tokens are never shared with third parties.

8.5 Clear Attribution of LinkedIn Data

All LinkedIn-derived data is clearly attributed to LinkedIn and is never commingled with third-party data in a way that obscures its origin.

8.6 No Sensitive Decision-Making

LinkedIn data is never used for employment decisions, credit scoring, insurance eligibility, housing decisions, or any legally sensitive determinations.

8.7 No Harmful or Misleading Use

We do not impersonate LinkedIn members, generate misleading content, or use LinkedIn data in ways that could harm member reputation or violate LinkedIn’s professional ecosystem.

8.8 Data Minimization & API Limits

We request only the minimum LinkedIn data required to provide our services and never attempt to exceed LinkedIn API rate limits.

8.9 No Redistribution of LinkedIn Content

We do not sell, rent, lease, distribute, or transfer LinkedIn content to any third party. LinkedIn data is used solely within the Taylor Grant Report platform for authorized users.

8.10 Member Deletion Rights

Users may request deletion of all LinkedIn-derived data at any time. Upon request, all LinkedIn data, tokens, and associated intelligence signals are permanently deleted.
